Unlike competitive products that require specialized device drivers for each supported tape drive or
library, BRU's device independent I/O layer allows it to natively support all SCSI, Fibre-Channel, FireWire,
and USB tape drives and SCSI/Fibre Channel tape libraries.
Following is a sampling of tape drives and libraries that have been BRU LE for Mac OS X tested under OS

BRU LE supports autoloaders with a maximum of ten (10) total slots
and one (1) drive. BRU LE will not work with autoloaders that do not meet these limits.
If you have an autoloader above these limits, please see our BRU Server product. |
