Data Backup and Content Distribution Software Services Delivered in DRS RDA Tape Automation Library Solution

Scottsdale, AZ — April 22, 2009 — TOLIS Group, Inc., today announces it is providing a modified version of its BRU Server for Linux software for integration into DRS Technologies RDA Tape Automation Library.

TOLIS Group's BRU Server software and DRS' RDA (Recorded Data Access) Tape Automation Library solution provides an efficient means to quickly and easily make copies of all or any portion of the RDA signal library contents for backup or distribution purposes.

Digital signal file archives of 15 TB are common in the nature of DRS' business. Key characteristics of the backup software that had to be met included: Linux 64-bit support, ultra-fast throughput, the ability to manage any size file - regardless of size - ease-of-use, and reliability. Following an extensive search for backup software support, DRS chose the BRU(tm) technology.
