Scottsdale, AZ - September 26, 2006 - TOLIS Group, Inc., developer of the ultra-reliable BRU™ brand of data backup and restore solutions today further raises the data backup bar in support of standalone Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server systems with the BRU LE 1.3.0 release:

• QuickBackup mode simplifies immediate backup requirements via familiar drag-and-drop operation from the Desktop and then simply clicking the "Start Backup" button - a quantum leap in ease-of-use backup operations
• D2D operations are greatly improved providing more robust disk-based archive management
• Multithreaded design provides dramatically improved I/O performance to the newest tape devices
• Improved administrative authentication and support for sending reporting e-mails through an intermediate mail server
• Seamless operation across the Macintosh PowerPC(r) and Intel(r) platforms

BRU LE 1.3.0 is available immediately. Priced at $129, current technical support customers will be upgraded for free while the upgrade cost to users without a technical support agreement is $69.

BRU LE for Mac OS X is compatible with TOLIS' BRU Server™ for Mac OS X network backup solution and the TOLIS Tape Tools™, a set of utilities to support the migration of data into a Mac OS X environment from other platforms.
