TOLIS TAPE TOOLS™ MIGRATE DATA TO MAC OS X® SYSTEMS AND COMPLEMENT BRU™ BACKUP SOLUTIONS

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona - February 23, 2004 - TOLIS Group, Inc. today announces the availability of TOLIS Tape Tools™, a set of unique data migration utilities that transfer the data contained on tar, cpio, or pax-based tapes onto a Mac OS X system. Organizations evaluating the migration to OS X now have a way to safely and reliably carry over their archived data.

Operationally, the Tools provide tape and library control plus raw tape read and write access for OS X. Used in conjunction with the tar, cpio, or pax utilities embedded in Mac OS X as appropriate, archived information can now be brought over to an OS X system regardless of the platform on which it was originally created. TOLIS Tape Tools are operated from the command line and all functions are clearly documented.
