[L182] read 449647616 blocks (899295232 KBytes) on volume [1], 1:12:01, 208122 KB/sec (210MB/sec)
[I181] wrote 395172352 blocks (790344704 KBytes) on volume [1], 1:13:25, 179419 KB/sec (175MB/sec)
[L182] read 395172352 blocks (790344704 KBytes) on volume [1], 1:05:54, 199884 KB/sec (200MB/sec)
The tests were run with real system data using BRU Server 2.0 on a Mac Pro 4,1 system running Mountain Lion. Source drive array was a striped (RAID 0) SAS array connected to an ATTO ExpressSAS H680.
Archival and backup are far more than simply copying data bytes from one device to another.
