Live System Backup for Vista and Server 2008

We're pleased to announce that BRU Server OFM (Open File Manager) module now supports live database backup on x86 and EM64T (x64) based Microsoft Server 2008 and Vista systems.  The OFM module allows database applications such as Oracle, Exchange, Active Directory (AD), etcetera to be backed-up while they are live.

In 24x7 environments, the database applications are reliably backed-up while the operation is transparent to the users accessing those applications.  In contrast to most other licensing schemes, only one OFM license is needed when multiple database applications are running on a particular server system.
